Love, Abundance and The Gathering of the Peacemakers Part 2

Wealth No Comments

I have a special Gathering of The Peacemakers video presentation featuring pictures, commentary and live music from the event.

But, before I share that let’s first explore Love and Abundance, topics of this weeks’ Blog of Love.

Lately I’ve been thinking about how to keep my awareness focused on intentions of love, abundance, and compassion for myself and my world.

Here’s what I found: It all begins with your mind by committing to only producing thoughts of love, gratitude and forgiveness in your life right now.  This might sound obvious but think about it…We are exposed to thousands of ads, images and other external stimulus daily.  Things we read yesterday are easily pushed out by this daily psychic invasion. No wonder we often feel confused and unbalanced.

That’s why we must CONSTANTLY REMIND ourselves of this awareness.  And trust me, no one needs this reminder more than me.  (A Gemini who’s mind thinks of new ideas at 420,000 miles an hour)  But back to the love…

I recently reread a fantastic article by Harold Becker—president and founder of The Love Foundation—which really resonated with me today.  His thoughts go along with exactly what I’ve been thinking and feeling:

“In many ways we have applied our outer pursuits of materialism to our expectation and experience of love and limited it as a simple commodity: either as an emotional sentiment, physiological expression or brokering tool for affection and acceptance.

Yet real love encompasses every facet of our life and is an ever present potential in every moment of our existence.

Will we go beyond this duality and embrace the potential of unconditional love where wealth and poverty merge into abundance for all?

Can we allow the wisdom of our heart to decide the course of our collective humanity?”

I say YES!  Yes, yes, yes.

Here are simple steps to merge wealth and poverty into abundance for all:

The Abundance Morning Blast: 3 Steps to Infusing Your Day with Endless Abundance

Our goal at the Year of Love has always been to share practical applications of Love.  Let me share a concrete example of how I use love and abundance every morning—borrowed from Success Ultra Now’s I AM Wealth Program

1.   Speak Abundance

My day begins with spoken abundance affirmations: “My natural state is of infinite abundance, I have attained everything right now and forever more, I am an embodiment of endless love, peace, purity, power and bliss.”  These are just a few affirmations from a page-long list I have.  (Stay tuned I will be sharing more about this Abundance Affirmation List in my next message.)

2.   Breathe in Abundance

After reciting the affirmation I take a moment comfortably meditating in silence, imagining myself breathing in endless abundance, contentment and fullness.  With each additional breath I feel the abundance, contentment and fullness deeper and deeper.  I continue to breathe like this for 5-10 minutes.

3.   Become an Abundance Watcher

Next as I run out the door to work, I make a commitment for the whole day to notice, appreciate and bless the abundance of everything around me.  I go out into the world as an abundance watcher mentally cataloging signs of abundance.  If I see someone who has abundance—let’s say in the form of a Mercedes, Porsche, or BMW—I’m happy for them.  I am gracious that this abundance is a part of me.

“The outer world of physical form is our creative playground and allows us an infinite number of ways to express our potential.  Yet, long ago we established a false premise that there is a limited amount of resources and that only by control and manipulation can we maintain an orderly reality.” ~ Harold Becker

On the flip side if I see someone lacking in abundance—maybe who’s homeless or drives a beat-up jalopy—I bless them.  I do this by seeing them as infinitely abundance beings.  I then thank them for the opportunity to improve myself and my world through loving abundant intentions.

But here’s the challenge:  Often within 60 minutes of arriving at work I go on awareness autopilot.  Meaning I forget to actively concentrate on loving abundant thoughts.  Keeping your now moment awareness focused on love takes practice.  Sometimes I forget for the whole day.

There’s good news though!  Every moment you do this you’re getting better and better at maintaining this loving abundant perspective.  And that’s why it’s important to pace yourself.

My abundant occurrences over the past few months:

  • I received a promotion at work and got a raise
  • I got a $100 tip
  • I have noticed very HIGH END cars around me ALL the TIME.  ($60,000+)
  • People call me excitedly with business ideas where my skills fit it perfectly

The awareness of love, abundance and bliss is a wonderful place to be.  See you there?

Much love and abundance to you,
